Propulsion Technician

As a part of the propulsion technician team, you will participate in component-level, up to, full-assembly builds through a variety of manufacturing hands-on processes that will allow you to grow as an entry level propulsion technician. 

Responsibilities: 

• Operate production surface finishing equipment & maintain production cell 
• Utilize basic hand and power tools, precision measurement equipment, and various data acquisition setups 
• Assist engineering in developing new processes and fabricating new tooling as needed 
• Responsible for in house hardware processing such as cleaning of engine hardware, machining prep, laser part marking, and hardware movements between stations 
• Operate specialized honing equipment and cleaning to processes for additively manufactured hardware
• Support engineering and other teams with development projects as required
• Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair as needed
• Support tube bending for engine build, test articles, test stands, and proofing panels 
• Capable of fabricating tooling used for assemblies in development and production  

Required Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years with hands-on manufacturing, repair, or other relevant mechanical experience
• Experience following written procedures and instructions; contributing toward improvement of process documentation 

Desired Experience: 

• Experience using manual mills, lathes, or similar fabrication equipment a plus 
• High pressure systems exposure

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $60,000 - $90,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs.
