Provider Enrollment Specialist

Responsible for the payer enrollment and revalidation processes for clinicians of Netsmart clients.

Responsibilities

• Complete timely provider enrollment and revalidation process; monitor enrollment status and perform all follow-up actions as needed for all insurance types, including enrollment and reassignment of commercial and Medicaid/Medicare programs for all states. 

• Work closely with clients and/or providers to obtain documents for enrollment 

• Respond to internal and external inquiries on enrollment statuses 

• Maintain provider documents, licenses, directories, files, and enrollments in all applicable locations 

• Track provider license, certification, DEA and professional liability expiration dates to ensure timely renewals 

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma, GED  

• At least 1 year of provider enrollment experience 

• Proficiency with CAQH and in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook 

Preferred

• Active Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification 

• At least 1 year revenue cycle experience 

• Experience using credentialling software  

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
