Provider Onboarding Specialist

The WelbeHealth Provider Onboarding Specialist facilitates the onboarding of all incoming team members under the WelbeHealth Medical Practice to ensure a smooth transition both into their respective roles and within the WelbeHealth Team. The Provider Onboarding Specialist collaborates with colleagues within the Talent Acquisition, Human Resource (HR), and Training & Development (T&D) departments, along with stakeholders across the organization, to create the most effective onboarding experience.

Essential Job Duties:

· Collaborate with HR and Network Management Teams to ensure timely and complete collection of required provider records during the onboarding process, and maintain an accurate, organized, and secure record keeping system

· Collaborate with the HR department on WelbeHealth Medical Practice team member engagement, culture, satisfaction, and retention

· Coordinate staffing prediction and hiring needs for Medical Practice with the HR and Finance Teams to ensure timely hiring

· Track all WelbeHealth Medical Practice provider related credentialing licensure to ensure maintenance and upkeep of the provider database

· Serve as the initial point of contact for onboarding team members within the WelbeHealth Medical Practice and initiate appropriate steps as required for successful provider transition by holding weekly meetings with the CMO and other involved parties

· Maintain progress through Smartsheet database while tracking provider status to ensure transition steps are completed and appropriately communicated to all other departments

· Provide Athena order management, accuracy training, and assistance to new providers beyond the training offered by T&D department

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration or a related field of practice management experience required (extensive experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement)

· Minimum of one (1) year of experience within a medical practice

· Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

· Knowledge of Athena EMR

Salary/Wage base range for this role is $80,000- 85,000 + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
