Provider Support Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Provider Support Specialist to join our inbound call center.

This position is fully remote, but you must live in one of the following states:

CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, NC, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VA, WI

Starting Pay is $17.00 per hour

The shift is 8:30 am-7:00 pm ET and will work four 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday with Fridays off.

Please note "Training" will be approximately 8 weeks M-F 9:30AM - 6:00PM EST. Than once training is complete, the 4/10s schedule will take affect. 

Responsibilities:

* Take inbound calls in a fast-paced call center.

* Provide a professional and helpful attitude to all callers and quickly develop rapport with customers over the phone.

* Contact providers via outbound phone calls, faxes, and emails, as needed.

* Demonstrate strong telephone communication and etiquette skills.

* Use professionalism/courtesy when representing Verisys in all external communications to healthcare provider offices (phone, fax, email).

* Evaluate information and answer provider questions related to credentialing.

* Maintain composure during moments of stress and always maintain a helpful disposition.

* All associates must meet established performance metrics including quality, schedule compliance, production standards, and attendance.

* Other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:

* Proficiency with using computers (keyboard, mouse, headset, multiple monitors).

* Proficiency working with G-Suite/Google Workspace.

* Experience with credentialing or healthcare operations, and/or knowledge of HIPAA, NCQA, or URAC is a plus.

* Must be detail-oriented and have critical thinking skills.

* Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.

* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information in a clear, focused, and concise manner while following proper grammar rules.

* Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.

* Demonstrate strong influencing and closing skills

* Can pass a drug test and criminal background check

* Must have high-speed internet.

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent
