Proximity Marketing Director
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and hands-onProximity Marketing Directorto lead and scale our face-to-face lead generation strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building high-performance teams, and isnβt afraid to get out in the field β knocking doors, attending events, and turning interactions into appointments.
The Proximity Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing a hyper-local marketing strategy designed to drive qualified appointments through direct outreach. You'll recruit, train, and manage a growing team of field marketers while also serving as a player-coach by leading from the front.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Build & Lead the Team:
β’ Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of proximity marketers.
β’ Develop training programs and performance standards.
β’ Foster a competitive, energetic, and goal-oriented culture.
β’ Field Marketing Execution:
β’ Actively participate in door-to-door marketing efforts to set appointments.
β’ Represent the company at local events, trade shows, and community activations.
β’ Model effective in-person lead generation techniques for the team.
β’ Appointment Generation & Metrics:
β’ Develop and track KPIs around appointments set, show rates, and close rates.
β’ Collaborate with sales leadership to align on quality and volume expectations.
β’ Continuously optimize pitch strategy and lead qualification criteria.
β’ Strategy & Expansion:
β’ Identify new neighborhoods, markets, or events to expand outreach.
β’ Analyze data and feedback to improve team performance and marketing ROI.
β’ Collaborate with the marketing team on branding, messaging, and campaign support.
Qualifications:
β’ Proven experience in door-to-door sales, event marketing, or field sales.
β’ Prior experience in building and managing a team is strongly preferred.
β’ Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
β’ Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed for outreach efforts.
β’ Comfortable with setting and achieving aggressive goals.
β’ Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
