Public Policy Analyst

Dynamis is seeking a Public Policy Analyst to facilitate dialogue between governance and policy entities for Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) engagements while working to improve process flow.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance on engagement agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other policy documents.
• Communicate appropriate information regarding policy and governance to HSIN stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and facilitation to stakeholder actions such as drafting, updating, and revising policy and governance documents relative to their work with HSIN.
• Document appropriate governance documents in designated governance repository.
• Assist with communications to and meetings with advisory groups, steering committees, working groups, governance bodies affecting HSIN.
• Assist in designing, documenting, and maintaining a governance model for HSIN products and services that addresses information security, privacy, content management, management of user access, and other issues necessary to create and operate secure, trusted services.
• Develops visual representations of governance processes with references to HSIN Charters and policy documents, detailing any gaps.
• Develops white papers to identify areas for improvement in the HSIN governance process with reference to trends occurring internally and externally to DHS and performs impact analysis and makes recommendations.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Ability to obtain DHS Suitability
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience/Familiarity with HSIN, DHS Information Sharing
