The founding team is uniquely positioned to grow Stepful to be the leader in healthcare education. Each founder brings in relevant experience coming from leadership roles at Udacity Apple and Uber.

Stepful is backed by Y Combinator and recently closed a round led by Reach Capital AlleyCorp and SemperVirens.

What you’ll do:

Stepful is looking for a Public Policy Lead to lead our expansion efforts across states and programs. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in navigating the complex legal landscape of state-wise education licensing and will be instrumental in securing grants to fuel our ambitious projects.

Licensing and Regulations

• Lead all efforts to secure trade school licenses across all states
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state-wise education regulations and ensure Stepful’s adherence.
• Strategize and implement procedures to streamline the licensing process.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure our products and services meet regulatory standards.

Government Partnerships

• Develop and scale Stepful’s business driven by government funding
• Partner with government workforce development programs
• Collaborate with internal teams including learning team and enterprise ops team to ensure the successful partnerships

This job is for you if

• Minimum of 5 years experience with a significant focus on business development with government agencies and/ or management consulting
• Strong analytical negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments.
• Experience in the education and/or government sector
