Public Relations Account Coordinator

Brilliant PR & Marketing, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands, seeks a Full-time Account Coordinator to help support the agency’s growing, award-winning team.

So what’s Brilliant all about? We are a unique PR agency with nearly 30 team members who all work remotely across the US. We give our team the resources they need to get their work done without having to sit in a cubicle or stuffy office. From costume contests to virtual happy hours and Slack GIFs, we prioritize connecting with each other and creating a sense of community. Although we are remote, team members are expected to be available online during regular business hours, and there is occasional travel for events and trade shows.

Brilliant is in its second decade as a fully remote company and is one of the most respected agencies serving consumer lifestyle brands with a specific focus on products, brands, and services for families including baby and maternity, toys and games, tech, housewares, and food. 

What We’re Looking For:

Our Dream Team Member:

• 1-3 years of non-intern PR experience in the consumer products industry, this is not an entry level position
• Values learning from others they work with
• Resourceful, committed, and deliberate
• Loves scrolling through Amazon and shopping online. 
• Reads media, and scrolls TikTok
• Shares in brainstorms and isn’t afraid to come up with and try new ideas 
• Works well on a team 
• Appreciates the art of public relations and all of the moving parts

Job Description:

• Work within the framework of a supportive 3-4 person team that will depend upon you in executing fundamental account tasks, while simultaneously pitching media and earned influencers.
• Work with senior staff to develop detailed brand strategies, campaigns, and activations
• Thoughtful about communications internally and externally
• Enjoys speaking during both interns, and client calls. 
• Builds and maintains strong media relationships with national print, online, and broadcast outlets
• Builds and maintains strong influencer relationships 
• Comfortable using Cision, Muck Rack, TV Eyes, Creator IQ, or comparable platforms
• Comfortable using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
