Public Relations Account Supervisor

We desire detailed-oriented team members who believe in collaboration and client service.The ideal candidate is a strategic problem-solver who is comfortable owning communication plans and budgets, along with overseeing the implementation of the work and maintaining successful client relationships for national and regional brands. Experience with professional services is preferred. The Account Supervisor will also interact with Barkley partners across the agency for a well-rounded experience.Responsibilities include:
- Strategic planning and budgeting for multiple clients and accountsÂ
- Expertise and ability to manage the day-to-day relationship and execution of client activities
- Supervision of junior team members
- Internal and external presentation skills
- Media relations: Experience working with B2B, consumer, national, local and trade media
- Conceptualizes, writes and distributes content for clients including thought leadership, awards, blogs, guest columns, op-eds, technical pieces and other long-form content
- Media monitoring and communications reporting
- Integrated marketing communications brainstorming and planning
- Crisis and risk management consultation
Travel Requirements:Â 5-10%
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience required
- 5-7 years public relations experience or related experience and/or training
- Expertise in managing and leading multiple client relationships and accounts in an agency or corporate setting
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral
- Ability to work autonomously, lead projects and work on a team collaboratively
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Creative problem solver with strong critical thinking skills to manage the unknown and plan ahead
- Experience in pitching national, regional, local and trade news media and securing interviews and earned media coverage for clients
- Experience working with professional services clients and highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with influencer relations
