Public Relations Assistant (Korean-Speaking)

Pearl Abyss - the company behind the highly acclaimed Black Desert franchise- is seeking a high-performing, innovative, results-oriented Public Relations Assistant for its European Publishing Office to accelerate growth and reach millions of players across all platforms (PC, Mobile, Console, etc.). As a Public Relations Assistant, you'll work with the publishing and development teams to build PR plans and activation strategies that resonate with media within the EMEA region.

You will join a lean but dedicated team working across multiple communities, platforms and games such as Black Desert, and upcoming releases such as Crimson Desert, DokeV and PLAN 8. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to ensure all Pearl Abyss current and future titles will achieve European goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage calendars (editorial, press conferences, events, internal meetings, etc..)
• Act as a bridge between the PR team in Europe and other international offices
• Write, edit and proofread different types of PR content (press releases, media announcement, presentations)
• Examine and document media coverage and track relevant PR metrics for internal reports
• Liaise with our development studio to ask for information and assets for upcoming beats
• Suggest innovative ideas in brainstorming sessions
• Maintain contact databases and mailing lists with updates
• Provide assistance in organisation of in-person events
• Responsible for the press clipping archive and scanning of materials for periodical reports
• Perform a variety of different administrative tasks

• Passion for video games
• Native-level proficiency in Korean and excellent proficiency in English
• Applicable knowledge of copywriting and editing
• Experience with social media platforms (X, Facebook etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Previous working experience in the PR-related rolls and knowledge in relevant field is a plus
