Work model: Hybrid model, 3 times per week in the office

The ideal candidate must have a passion for storytelling, an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Stellar communication skills are a must, succinct writing skills are required, and the ability to stay on top of multiple tasks and agency submissions is essential. You will support the Public Relations team, staying on top of deadlines and assisting the PR Managers with agency follow-up and logistics. You will have a love for project management and will keep the PR Team’s project boards updated, tracking deadlines, monitoring deliverables, and keeping the team accountable across all tasks.

What You’ll Do  

• Bring the SOTI story to life. By supporting the EMEA PR Manager with their regional PR plans across multiple regions, you will be reinforcing SOTI’s brand vision, values and positioning. This will support the growth of a fully integrated communications strategy  

• Support the PR strategy to drive brand awareness 

• The potential to assist with the writing of content (customer stories, blogs, etc.) 

• The daily editing of press releases for brand consistency 

• Facilitate requests from the agencies to achieve Platinum and Tier 1 business and technology media coverage 

• Liaise with SOTI spokespeople to ensure they have the materials required to prepare them for interviews and/or garner content approvals 

• Work with the PR Managers in all regions to grow our PR calendar consisting of editorial opportunities and diverse, creative campaigns to maximize media exposure and align them with company strategic goals 

• Coordinate and integrate PR campaigns, content and results with the Social Media team to ensure sharing across SOTI’s social channels  

• Support the PR Manager’s relationships with SOTI’s external PR agencies with updates, emails and brand approval of documents to meet deadlines 

• Support and help organize opportunities for corporate speakers at events and conferences  

• Support and help the PR team with project management for SOTI’s quarterly reports, working cross-functionally with the Corporate Marketing team 

• Ensure corporate awards and product review opportunities are supported and assist in preparing submissions 

• Support the PR team with logistics and administrative tasks to fulfil external opportunities such as speaking engagements, media opportunities, etc. by booking meetings, preparing briefing books with the agency and following up 

• Oversee the reporting and measurement tools on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and work with the PR team to assemble data and provide reporting metrics as required  

• Prioritize and manage incoming requests for information, surveys, fact checks, customer references, and events.  

• Support the PR team as they develop case studies, sales, marketing and product opportunities 

• Work with the social media team to ensure content calendar is updated with the latest coverage and new opportunities are in the pipeline 

Qualifications  

• Studying for a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Business, Post-Secondary Certification in Public Relations – new or soon-to-be graduate internship placement 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong copywriting and content creation skills with the ability to proofread and edit copy 

• An interest in learning about a global media relations landscape 

• The ability to oversee daily monitoring through a media monitoring tool 

• The ability to coordinate results reporting and submissions from global PR agencies 

• Provide support for PR-owned content creation such as quarterly reports and customer stories 

• Results-driven continually raises the bar while delivering both quality and quantity  

• Passionate about being current on the latest industry trends; able to articulate key details and potential opportunities clearly and confidently  

• Growth mindset and attitude of a lifelong learner, with a genuine desire to make a difference within a growing organization  

• Comfortable with risk-taking to challenge the status quo 

• A self-starter who can multi-task and constantly prioritize on the fly – you get stuff done! 

• Motivated, energetic team player who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment  

• Strong project management skills 

• Interest in working, networking and collaborating with a global team, sitting across countries and continents and managing time zones effectively  

• Strong judgment and the ability to respond quickly, yet thoughtfully, to urgent matters  

• Knowledge of project management/collaboration tools is an asset (Click Up) 

• Team player with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid model (work from home/work from team office in Ireland) 

• European language is not essential but an asset (French, German or Swedish especially).
