Job Description

The Public Relations Manager plays a key role in strengthening the company’s brand and reputation by maintaining good relationships with the media, communicating key company messages through traditional and new media platforms, and helping to manage PR issues as needed. This person will be responsible for:

• Building, growing and maintaining a robust media network
• Bridging the relationship between foodpanda and the media and creating a positive brand image
• PItching stories to the press and generating coverage
• Organizing press conferences, interviews and other media engagements
• Preparing detailed reports on media coverage, SOV and sentiment
• Handling critical issues with the media if/when they arise

Qualifications

• Has at least five years of experience in media relations, preferably with a PR agency background
• Has a very strong network of traditional, online and new (e.g. FB groups) media
• Has solid experience in PR issues and crisis management
• Has very good communication skills, for pitching stories and relaying key messages to media
• Can thrive under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
