Publication Selection Analyst (entry level)

We are looking for an entry level Publication Selection Analyst to join our Editorial Relations team, part of the Web of Science Editorial division. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team responsible for establishing strong relationships with scholarly publishers throughout the world who provide content for inclusion in Web of Science™. We are seeking an organized, approachable individual with an interest in scholarly publishing and/or customer service.  The successful candidate will be the principal point of contact for publishing partners for matters concerning the editorial selection policies and procedures for Web of Science and inclusion in Journal Citation Reports - the foremost journal intelligence platform. Editorial Relations Associate will work closely with the other members of the Editorial Relations team and collaborate across multiple internal teams within Clarivate.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Proficient with Office 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (SharePoint or similar collaborative tools would be an advantage)
• High level of English-language proficiency
• Experience in a customer service or administrative role (workplace, academic or extra-curricular setting)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Basic knowledge of the scholarly publishing industry and the process for publishing a scholarly journal

What you will be doing in this role?

• Manage editorial mailboxes, responding to and triaging enquiries from external customers, editors, authors, and publishers
• Communication with internal stakeholders across editorial, operations and customer service departments
• Organize and maintain file-sharing resources
• Ad-hoc support and administrative projects for the editorial leadership team

You will be reporting to the Director of Editorial Relations for Web of Science. We are a global team of more than 20 colleagues based in USA, UK, Spain, Serbia, and India.

Hours of Work  

This is a full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
