Basin Material Handling (Easley, SC) is seeking talented, experienced Purchaser for our growing business. Successful candidates are expected to comply with the general attendance policies. Successful candidates are expected to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
Job Duties:
The Purchaser will negotiate vendor terms and prices and will schedule delivery using knowledge of production schedules and estimator's inputs.

• Carries out physical and electronic inventory control policies and procedures. 
• Uses knowledge of material and work planning methods to coordinate product deliveries.
• Maintain primary responsibility for SDS books at work site, in accordance with OSHA requirement.
• Negotiates best vendor terms, pricing, and delivery based on specific budget and production schedule requirements.
• Uses knowledge of machines and equipment to schedule items necessary to continuous production cycles. Adheres to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures and processing of job. 
• Perform and assist with account payable duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours:

• Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.
