The AMH Development Purchase Order Specialist position is responsible for ensuring a prompt and accurate payment lifecycle for all new home construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile due diligence, horizontal and vertical budgets in Yardi
• Receive, audit, and submit vendor invoices, 702/703's, progress pay applications, and contracts to accounts payable for payment
• Research vendor payment inquiries and aging reports to ensure prompt resolution and avoid duplicate payments
• Complete various other projects as delegated by Supervisor, Purchase Order Specialist and Senior Management
• Provide exceptional internal and external customer service to ensure a seamless end-to-end new home construction payment lifecycle
• PO and Contract creation utilizing systems Yardi, CRM, and BuilderTrend

Requirements:

• Purchase Order experience is preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Quality and results oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of an organization
• Strong capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to think critically and problem solve in unique situations
• Outstanding planning and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt rapidly in a multifaceted environment
• Previous experience working for a startup
