Accountabilities:

  • Review, create, and manage purchase requisitions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal financial controls.
  • Act as a key liaison between Service Delivery and Finance teams to validate cost classifications, business justifications, and timing of expenses.
  • Support financial governance by ensuring purchase requisitions align with IFRS principles and organizational procurement standards.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders to resolve procurement and finance-related queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Monitor multiple requisitions simultaneously, ensuring timely processing and prioritization of operational needs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with identifying discrepancies, escalating issues when necessary, and maintaining strong documentation practices.
  • Requirements:

    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence interacting with international and UK-based stakeholders.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes consistently and accurately.
    • Understanding or willingness to learn accounting concepts such as accruals, prepayments, cost categorization, and IFRS principles.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic operational environment.
    • Confidence in identifying issues, raising queries, and escalating concerns appropriately.
    • Experience working in procurement, finance operations, shared services, or purchase requisition processes is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing platforms is considered an advantage.
    • Comfortable working in shift-based schedules, including early and late shifts where required.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
