We are seeking an experienced and proactive Purchaser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, goods, and services, ensuring the best purchasing conditions for the company while aligning with quality, cost, and deadline objectives set by our Purchasing strategy. You will prospect for new technologies and suppliers that support the company’s development goals, negotiate favorable terms, and build lasting supplier relationships.
 

About the Job:

• Manage and execute the procurement process, focusing on raw materials, as well as goods and services

• Conduct market trend analysis, evaluate supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings

• Maintain long-term relationships with existing suppliers in Europe and engage with potential new ones

• Negotiate purchasing conditions based on market dynamics, ensuring responsiveness, flexibility, cost-efficiency, quality, quantity, and adherence to deadlines; formalize agreements with selected suppliers

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely reordering and prevent stock shortages

• Analyze market trends, suppliers’ performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings

• Prepare purchase orders and ensure the accurate documentation of transactions

• Initiate and resolve any supplier disputes

• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal requirements

About You:

• Proven experience as a Purchaser, Buyer, or in a similar procurement role

• Experience in mass production

• Experience in the automotive field would be beneficial

• Good communication skills in both French and English languages

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing strategies, and market analysis

• Experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus

• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
