Purchasing Manager

Your Role:

Faraday Future is looking for a Purchasing Manager from the automotive industry with a zero-defect mindset and approach. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead benchmarking and analysis for competitive cost structure
• Develop material cost forecasts and estimates for commodities based on engineering design and specifications
• Support vehicle teardowns, and cost targets development
• Perform supplier financial analysis and support supplier selection
• Perform Make vs Buy Analysis
• Identify inefficiencies and cost gaps in already sourced commodities
• Support identification of material cost optimization and process improvement opportunities
• Support Supply Chain, Engineering and Finance teams towards achievement and development of vehicle targets
• Manage and lead a team of at least 5 people
• Negotiate with suppliers
• Ability to travel up to 25% (nationally and internationally)
• Play a pivotal role in establishing our supply chain in Asia

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in a technical and/or engineering field)
• 7+ years of automotive experience
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Management experience of at least 5 people
• Skilled negotiator
• Experience working for an OEM and/or other relevant organization

Desired Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Master of Business Administration
• SAP experience
• Exceptional Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office suite
• Electric vehicle experience
• Experience working abroad
• Multinational company experience

Annual Salary Range:

($118,500 to $154,000 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
