Your Responsibilities
As an PV&V Controls Integration Engineerfor John Deere Power Systemslocated in Waterloo, IA, you will review and understand hardware and firmware design changes proposed by suppliers and engineering teams, which includes product updates for continuous improvement and obsolescence management. In addition, you will...

• Coordinate with subsystem teams, software teams, hardware design team, performance & emissions teams, factories, and product support groups to understand full potential system impacts of proposed changes.
• Develop and manage test strategies and test plans that verify functional system performance and execute the test plans along with other team members using bench tests, HIL testers, test cells, and/or application testing as needed.
• Communicate status and results.

What Skills You Need

• 3 or more years of experience developing or testing embedded electronic controls
• 2 or more years of experience working with diesel engine control systems
• 1 or more years working knowledge of embedded electronics hardware design

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience with embedded software development
• Experience with hardware circuit design or analysis
• Working knowledge of System Engineering concepts
• Experience with product functional verification and validation testing
• Experience with Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing and test scripts
• Experience with off road applications (tractor, construction equipment)
• Experience with engine performance calibrations
• Experience with automotive sensors and actuators
• Knowledge of JD product lines

Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering or other Engineering discipline
