We are looking for: Mid Fullstack Engineer to join our client’s team. To bring personalized coaching to every corner of the globe. They're pioneers in language learning tech, offering a revolutionary app that brings AI tutors to users’ fingertips at a fraction of the cost of traditional tutoring. The Role

As a Software Engineer, you'll be in charge of and responsible for the development of our backend systems. You will be a part of a small team where rapid development is a part of everyday life, so we hope that you’re excited about change. Because of the small nature of the team, you will work across the whole backend stack.

We built our backend systems on FastAPI & Postgres, our frontend clients on Swift and React, our data layer on BigQuery & Superset and we are deployed on AWS. Responsibilities

• Lead the charge in developing backend.
• Champion the implementation of best development practices for sustainable growth.
• Make sure our automated deployments stay quick and painless, so we can ship immediately to production.
• Collaborate through GitHub pull requests, and code reviews, and provide valuable team feedback.
• Keep the codebase covered by tests to ensure robustness.
• Build tools with Large Language Models that provide real value to users.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years in backend web development.
• Minimum of 5 years of Python proficiency (bonus points for additional experience).
• Cloud providers are your second home.
• Familiarity with speech or audio applications, large language models, FastAPI, Postgres, AWS, or GCP? Even better!
