Python Developer

About you

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience. 
• 5+ years of experience in Python  
• 5+ years of experience building Web Services 
• 1+ years of experience in Django, Flask or FastAPI
• 1+ years of experience in SQL databases (Postgresql, Mysql, or related). 
• Strong knowledge of software development concepts, such as SOLID principles, OOP and DRY, and best coding practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and logical thinking skills. 
• Professional experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Professional knowledge of ETL processes. 
• Strong technical leadership and guidance skills. 
• English is a requirement, as you will be working directly with US-based clients. 
• Outstanding skills at interacting with people, both within the organization (from developers to senior management) and with customers/partners. 
• Responsible, organized, and hard-working with excellent communication skills. 

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities: 

• Write Python code under provided standards to share information through API,s and/or to extract data from different sources (text files, APIs, SQL Server Database, etc.). 
• Work in an organized team-oriented environment with shared responsibilities under agile methodologies like SCRUM.
