Python Developer
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), is an award-winning IT solutions provider. Astor is headquartered in McLean, VA, and is seeking a Python Developer. This is a full-time benefitted and hybrid remote position based in the McLean area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Writing scalable code using Python programming language for internal application
- Provide Agile development and operations and maintenance for enterprise systems
- Testing and debugging applications
- Develop, update, and enhance the software components of the currently implemented pilot system and any additional modernization development activities
- Responsible for development of RESTful web services that host data to production systems
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1-2+ years of experience as a Developer using Python
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Experience using Django framework is preferred
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
