Python QA Tester

In this role as a Senior QA Tester (Automotive), you will:

• Design, plan, and execute functional and non-functional tests for automotive software applications.
• Perform root cause analysis for identified defects and provide clear and concise bug reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, and product owners to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Participate in test strategy and test design discussions to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for test processes and methodologies.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, specifically in the automotive domain.
• Strong knowledge of automotive system architecture and communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.
• Proven experience in functional, integration, and regression testing of automotive software systems.
• Proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or Zephyr.
• Experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot software defects.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 or other automotive functional safety standards is a plus.
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
