About the Role

We are looking for a Python and AWS/Azure Developer who can join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products. In this role you will write and test code, debug programs, and integrate applications with existing web services. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in developing large-scale web applications using Python, AWS/Azure, SQL / NoSQL databases, Terraform, and work well in a team. Ultimately, you'll build highly scalable and responsive web applications that align with our business needs.

• Write effective, scalable code using Object Oriented Python
• Experience with Python 3, PyTest, Celery, Flask
• Make infrastructure changes using Terraform
• Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance
• Test and debug programs
• Implement security and data protection solutions
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions

What Skills & Experience You Should Have

• 4+ years' of professional experience in Python with AWS or Azure
• Good understanding of operating systems principles, software architectures, software algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Good exposure to design, development, and debugging tools.
• Working knowledge of ElasticSearch, Docker, and Terraform
• Cloud experience with AWS - CloudWatch, RDS or Microsoft Azure
• Experience in Linux based environments
• Fluency in English

About Your Location

Preferred location is our office in Mexicali. This role can also be based remotely in Mexico.
