TO BE USED ONLY IN ORGANIZATIONS DELIVERING SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS: Responsible for designing and developing complex requirements front office risk analytics applications to accomplish Global Mortgage Structure Products business business goals. Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Possess strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns. Assists team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work. Designs/develops/modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained. Mentors other Software Engineers. Individual contributor.
• Job Description
Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex front office risk analytics applications for Global Mortgage Structure Products business. Proficient in translating business requirements to easy to use and high-performance products. Experience of architecting/designing end-to-end application flows. Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. Experience with implementation and release management activities. Good understanding of unit, integration and functional testing. Understanding of full software development life cycle Ability to effectively communicate with business, technology partners and senior management. Monitor production applications, set up monitoring and respond to alerts appropriately. Strong programming experience with Python, Caching frameworks, distributed computing, messaging frameworks, Object Oriented Programming, server-side development, database technologies and SQL. Follow enterprise coding standards and execute on best practices to build processes.
Required Skills:
• Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or Equivalent professional experience. • 10-20 years of Hands-on Software Development experience in Python or any other programming language and willing to work in Python. • Experience on high performance and low latency systems using messaging frameworks. • Experience on caching frameworks. • Experience on distributed computing using Grid.
• Good understanding on OOP fundamentals, Data structures, Design patterns. • Ability to analyze, design, develop and troubleshoot new and existing applications. • Experience on Risk systems in Financial insdustry is added advantage. • Good communcation skills
Desired Skills:
• Full stack developer with Knowledge of ReactJS. • Work with geographically disbursed groups. Good working knowledge of software configuration management systems - bug tracking, source control, build management (JIRA/Bitbucket) • Ensures that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Participates and guides team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle. • Individual Contributor
