Python Technical Lead

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Technical Lead Backend Developer with exceptional web services and other backend development skills to work as a member of an Agile team responsible for building and maintaining our client’s web and/or mobile applications. Our environment will require you to work effectively with your teammates, of course. But your real success will be measured by how well you couple critical thinking with self-motivation, enthusiasm, and determination.

Responsibilities

*Work with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client’s applications

*Mentor fellow developers

*Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality focused CI/CD pipeline

*Responsible for code reviews, testing and delivery of high-quality maintainable code

*Work in an Agile environment to define, estimate and work user stories

*Proficient English and communications skills required

*Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Technical Requirements

*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

*8+ years of backend development experience with Python

*4+ years of experience Django framework

*Experience with Fast API

*Experience with modern enterprise patterns like microservices

*Development experience with PostgreSQL

*Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a production application

*Cloud development experience with AWS

*Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes

*Demonstrated experience leading technical teams

*Experience with order management systems

*Experience with supply chain management systems

*Experience with warehouse management systems
