Python/Django Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Python/Django Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications using the Django framework and other related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Django-based web applications, ensuring high-performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to translate requirements into functional code.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices using Django REST Framework.
• Implement and optimize database structures and queries using MySQL or other SQL databases.
• Leverage caching mechanisms, such as Redis, to enhance application performance.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, Lambda, and other relevant AWS services.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices and industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Django releases, Python enhancements, and related technologies.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools, libraries, and shared codebases.

• Extensive experience in Python and Django web development, with a strong understanding of the Django framework and its ecosystem.
• Proven experience with MySQL or other relational databases, as well as Redis or other in-memory data stores.
• Hands-on experience in developing and deploying applications on AWS, including services like EC2, RDS, ElastiCache, Lambda, and related services.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agency or consulting environment is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
