QA Analyst

About the QA Analyst position
If you are an extremely outgoing and self-motivated QA Analyst with experience testing web applications, this job is for you! We are looking for a highly skilled and organized tester, who loves working in a fast-paced environment, to come join our team. 
This person will be responsible for testing various web and commerce applications and back-end web products for our clients, ensuring the utmost quality.
Verndale’s QA Team is small, but growing fast, and this is an opportunity to work very closely with the department leaders to help drive improvements to the QA Process.
Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive QA testing for web and commerce applications with strong testing and automation skills
• Manage full testing lifecycle: planning, execution, and defect management
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports
• Implement automation testing using Selenium or similar tools
• Collaborate closely with technical teams, project managers, and business analysts
• Independently deliver projects with minimal oversight
• Proactively manage project timelines, communicate status, and drive issue resolution
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of QA processes

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA engineering experience with proficiency in English and French
• Strong DevOps and agile software development background
• ISTQB foundation level certification
• Comprehensive testing expertise: regression, smoke, exploratory, UI, functional, and usability testing
• Skilled in task estimation, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving
• Proficient in testing web, commerce, mobile, and tablet applications across multiple browsers and platforms
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and understanding of front-end technologies
• Familiarity with Atlassian Suite, accessibility testing, and API testing
• Preferred knowledge of Content Management Systems and E-commerce processes
• Team-oriented professional capable of adapting to dynamic environments
