QA Analyst

SciPlay is looking for a passionate QA Analyst to help maintain a high standard of quality and reliability on its top mobile franchise, Jackpot Party Casino in the Cedar Falls, Iowa Studio. As a QA Analyst, you'll be responsible for developing and executing tests on new and existing in game events and much more to ensure that they meet requisite functional and technical compliance. You'll work with a talented team comprised of developers, designers, artists, and marketing experts to build and execute game events, ensuring the game is fresh and fun every day for our players.

*The working days of this full-time position are Saturday-Wednesday.* Location: Cedar Falls, Iowa Studio hybrid work model

Essential Job Functions:

· Ensures that all software is working as intended with a keen eye for detail

• Uses familiarity with standard QA processes to review bugs, test cases, and create documentation

• Develops, maintains, and executes test plans and test scripts for new and existing game themes and

operating systems/platforms

• Documents, maintains, and tracks the status of all issues in the bug tracking database (JIRA) until

issues are resolved

• Reproduce issues, when necessary, to assist software development in resolving issues

• Generates status reports, documentation, and other low-level reports for supervisors and/or product

development groups

• Works with QA Management and other product development groups to implement new QA processes

and improve existing ones

• Communicates with other departments within Social Gaming to prevent issues from arising and

correct existing problems during the development cycle

Requirements

Education: Relevant experience with software or game testing

Required Experience: 2+ years of professional software testing experience

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with bug tracking software (ie: JIRA, XRay, Testrails, Bugzilla etc)

• Familiar with common bug finding practices (i.e. collision, clipping, grammar etc.)

• Web/Mobile testing experience is a plus

• QA experience in Social Media Gaming is a plus

• Experience in a Software Development environment

• Proficient understanding of software test methodologies/procedures and the overall product

development lifecycle

• Learning processes/process adherence as well as experience with change management

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong attention to the player experience

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Efficiently regulate and prioritize tasks

• Meet quick deadlines and deliver precise, effective results in a fast-paced work environment

• Strong technical knowledge of computers/mobile devices and ability to effectively troubleshoot

• Ability to learn and identify testing tools required for new features

• Ability to identify risks
