QA Analyst

The Role

We are seeking a QA Engineer to design, execute, and maintain QA test cases and procedures. As a member of the Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to verify and validate systems and features from the ground-up.  Someone in this role will be expected to leverage their QA experience to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Your responsibilities won’t be limited to just designing and executing test cases. You will also have a big role to play in assessing the usability and continual improvement of our product to provide a remarkable user experience.

Responsibilities 

• Create and maintain test cases that validate unit and system level product functionality
• Execute test cases and procedures for pre-released software to verify product requirements and specifications
• Provide clear and detailed written reports of bugs to the development and product teams
• Perform smoke testing, regression testing, and verification of bug fixes
• Help build a culture where bugs and mistakes in Production are treated as opportunities to improve the platform.

Requirements and Qualifications

• 1+ years of software QA testing experience
• Familiarity with browser-based developer tools and utilizing console/network logs to troubleshoot application issues
• Understanding of agile engineering processes that support the entire software development life cycle, including TDD/BDD, CI/CD and related build/test/deploy processes.
• Ability to work in a detail-oriented, analytical manner on rapidly changing and shifting priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively
• Previous experience working inside innovative, high-growth environments also a plus
• Preferred local to the New York, Santa Monica or Seattle areas.  Remote for the right candidate.
