As a QA Analyst II at Vertafore, you will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and be in a hands-on role responsible for the evaluation and testing of Vertafore's flagship product, AMS360. Employees in this role design and implement test plans to ensure that software functions as expected to meet or exceed customer's standards.This position is instrumental in Vertafore's ongoing success within the insurance industry. Our QA Analysts collaborate with our development and product teams, focusing on the providing the best products for our valued customers. This is a fast paced, ever-changing environment. We continually challenge ourselves to exceed objectives, remove barriers, meet crucial deadlines, and maintain multiple projects, all while pioneering ways for efficiency with a team player attitude. What we're looking for:
We're looking for you if you're an A-player, experienced quality analyst with a love for continuous improvement. You're proficient in delivering quality products and building tests within all levels of the testing pyramid. More specifically, we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (preferred)
• 3+ years of quality engineering experience
• Experience with writing/maintaining manual tests and suites
• Experience using issue tracking tools like Rally, testing tools like qTest, and collaboration tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint
• Experience working in an Agile/SAFe framework
• Comfort in testing both front and backend services
• Solid grasp of writing SQL queries
• Basic understanding of OOP coding concepts
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, especially in cross functional distributed teams
• Knowledge of Insurance Industry (preferred) 

Additional Requirements and Details:

· Travel required up to 10% of the time.

· Located and working from an office location when necessary.

· Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.

· Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.).

· Frequent sitting and/or standing.
