The Role

Duties

1. Inspecting the quality of items purchased from suppliers by means of inspections and testing.

2. Reviewing pre-production approval samples and reporting accordingly.

3. Reviewing supplier quality reports and reporting accordingly.

4. Supervising the sorting of reject batches of in-house sorting to ensure agreed standards are maintained.

5. Maintaining sorting records and time sheets for all sorting operatives

6. Completing off site inspections: UK based.

7. Managing the inspections, testing and inspection records for all deliveries to Continental Bottle managed warehouses.

Required Skills

1. Technical and product knowledge.

2. Articulate and accurate with good attention to detail. Ability to remain organized under pressure

3. Ability to remain organized under pressure

4. Ability to deal with difficult situations whilst remaining calm

5. Ownership and problem solving skills.

6. Ability to work as part of a team.

7. Good communication skills both written and verbal.

8. Good knowledge of health and safety.

9. IT Literate

10. Driving License
