QA Automation Engineer

We're seeking a highly skilled mid-level QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with the development team and other stakeholders to identify and resolve any defects or issues. Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript, WebDriverIO)
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to identify and log defects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into automated test cases
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with the team to implement solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process and automation framework
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in automation testing and implement them as appropriate

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a QA Automation Engineer, testing web and mobile applications, encompassing both frontend and backend
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JavaScript, WebDriverIO)
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Previous experience in Manual testing
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Demonstrated skill in developing and executing test plans and writing test cases clearly
- Familiarity with test management and bug-tracking systems
- Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
- Solid knowledge of SQL
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus
