QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer on our team, you will work closely with the QA and Development teams to evaluate automation needs, propose solutions, and build automation tests and tools in our Nightwatch/Selenium testing suite. Your work will directly impact the experience of our over 600 million users around the globe. To be successful in this role, you should have a very strong understanding of end-to-end automation and be comfortable executing projects independently.
This is a full-time role with a starting salary range of $90,000 - $124,000 USD annually and is eligible for all our benefits and perks.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with QA Manual and Engineering teams to solve application errors.
• Monitor existing test suite to ensure the accuracy of tests performed, updating as needed.
• Identify application weaknesses and review bug reports to highlight problem areas and opportunities for new testing.
• Build new testing tools to assist the QA team in performing more tests in a shorter time frame.
• Record testing results to ensure the accuracy of records and contribute to an extensive library of test case documentation.

Requirements
Skills you already have:

• Analyzing web applications and identifying weaknesses to be tested.
• Using Javascript to write test scripts in a Selenium environment for web-based applications across multiple devices (desktop, mobile, and various browsers).
• Testing applications both manually and with automation.
• Fully owning all projects you take on or that are assigned to you, working independently with little to no assistance from other team members.
• A passion for troubleshooting, problem solving, and finding bugs.
