QA Automation Engineer
Job Description
Seeking QA Automation Engineer that has experience in the entire software development process:
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Estimate, Prioritize, Plan, Coordinate and conduct testing activities.
- Design, Develop Execute and maintain automation scripts using Automation multiple Frameworks.
- Identify, Record, Document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform and validate Database testing in QA environment.
- Perform API testing using API testing tools and Validating data.
- Performing through different types of testin practices to deliver defect free products to the customers.
- Participating in bug Scrubs and prioritization sessions.
- Creating automation frameworks using Java, Selenium Web Driver, Junit and TestNG.
- Validating regular and Ajax control using Selenium locators (Xpath, CSS, id and name).
- Interacting with Clients, Business Analyst and software developers for bug reviews and participating in QA and requirement gathering meetings.
- Performing Data driven testing using Junit functions and Selenium WebDriver which examines the data properly from XML files.
- Verifying builds for quality prior to production deployment.
- Creating and Maintaining of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Test Matrix & Gap Analysis.

Required Tools: β’ Microsoft Visual Studios: Is an integrated Development Environment (IDE) used for developing and Build Selenium Automation Scripts.β’ Jenkins: Used to automate the builds and perform continuous integration.β’ Postman: Used to test the API request response.β’ SoapUI: Used for handling and automate functional API Testing.β’ GitHub and Bitbucket: Used for Version control tools for coordinating work between the team members.β’ Selenium: Selenium is an open source automation tool used for automating tests carried out on Web Browsers.β’ Appium: Appium is a mobile test automation framework used for automating tests carried for all native and Hybrid mobile application for iOS and Android.β’ UI Automator viewer: UI automator viewer tool is Used to scan and analyze the UI components of Android applications.β’ Browser stack: Browser Stack tool is a cloud web and mobile testing platform to perform test on various mobile versions on real time mobile devices and tablets.β’ Web Driver: WebDriver is a tool used for testing web applications across different browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox) using different programming languagesβ’ TFS and JIRA: Team Foundation Server and JIRA are used for defect tracking, Project tracking and planning Tool.
Education:
Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in computer science, information systems, computer applications, engineering (computer/technology/electronics/electrical) or another closely related major.
