QA Automation Engineer

Who We Are:

What you’ll do: 

• Lead and manage the automated testing effort for our Reformation's ecommerce site, and internal applications.
• Define and implement test automation, ensure scalability of automation and continuous integration across internal and external systems.
• Develop automated regression tests that are robust, scalable, and resilient in the face of system changes.
• Develop and improve processes and procedures.
• Conduct the testing to execute functional, system integration, non-functional, and/or stage deployment testing.
• Conduct automated and manual testing of new and existing software to maintain high quality standards, with a focus on effective use of automation.
• Manage coding standards and frameworks, and improve adoption of industry standard practices within the engineering department.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, DevOps and business stakeholders in defining and scoping software features and testing the acceptance criteria.
• Track, document, and report quality KPIs and metrics. Maintain test metrics, applying lessons learned and continuous process improvements.
• Ensure accurate reporting for projects, test automation status is sent out regularly.
• Mentor and develop QA engineers: on-shore, near shore, and off-shore.

What you’ll need: 

• Heavy experience with Playwright is a must.
• Self-starter with hands-on experience in setting up and running test automation using tools like Postman.
• Hands-on experience with integrations with GitHub, Slack, JIRA.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing complex and multi-solution automation tests.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated testing solutions with external vendors.
• Experience in API, AWS, and Micro-services testing.
• Experience with SFCC built e-commerce applications.
• Experience in deriving the test strategy for Service / Layer level testing for ex: Web services. Functional Testing digital application and mobile applications.
• Experience in Agile testing techniques and methods.
• Experience in deriving test estimates, planning, scheduling, and reporting.
• Experience liaising with groups of people across several geographies.
• Excellent communication and time management skills, quick learner
• Creative problem solver who can often work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
• Validate data flow throughout application workflow (end to end).
