QA Automation Engineer - Hospitality Business Intelligence

As Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a key member of the Hospitality Business Intelligence R&D delivery team. Working predominantly in an Agile environment, you will be working closely with all stakeholders to ensure requirements are being met to the right quality standards.

You should have a background in Automation Testing for web applications, with knowledge in Object Oriented Programming like Java and a hands-on experience working with different databases for data validations.

Your main responsibilities

Delivery of quality aspects of projects & initiatives

• Build automation framework and re-usable automation tests/test scripts using Selenium in JAVA.
• Comfortable working with Oracle and having hands-on experience in SQLs
• Knowledge of SOA Automation  

Design and perform tests

• Design and develop test cases and scripts, as needed.
• Prepare test environment, test data, and execute test cases.
• Give go/no-go for the customer’s test campaign.
• Be responsible for the project, product, or release quality control.

Fix Problem Tracking Records

• Provide information to developers to fix defects
• Check PTR fix and give go/no-go for the load of Production PTRs
• Document software defects.

Communicate and coordinate

• Interface and communicate with the stakeholders
• Ensure delivery without gaps
• Maintain good interpersonal relations with stakeholders
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing across different departments and stakeholders

About our ideal candidate

• 5+ years of Automation Testing experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UI testing and framework designing

• 3+ years of Advanced programming skills including knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (e.g., Java)

• Hands-on experience in performing Backend Testing using SQL across databases.

• Experienced in API Testing using tools like POSTMAN and SOAP UI

• Knowledge of tools like Maven, JUnit, TestNG, Jenkins

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

• Demonstrated experience improving automated test coverage for existing applications.

• Fluent in English.
