QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI using Playwright.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage and identify areas of improvement.
• Work within agile teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline.
• Collaborate with product owners developers and other stakeholders to define and implement BDD scenarios.
• Write Gherkin-based scenarios and convert them into automated tests.
• Participate in agile ceremonies.
• Mentor and support junior QA engineers in test automation practices.
• Conduct manual testing when necessary to ensure feature completeness and correctness.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Proven experience in Playwright – preferably with TypeScript.
• Proven experience with writing Gherkin-based scenarios.
• Solid understanding of web technologies and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
