Role Summary

eClerx is seeking a QA Automation Leader to manage a firm-wide conversion to an Agile, automated quality assurance framework. The mid-sized financial services firm has 50+ application development teams working on 150+ applications across all departments. Most applications still exist on legacy architectures (some new, some old) but are undergoing a conversion to cloud-native. The firm is also moving to a fully-Agile development methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Maximize the value of the product that is delivered to our clients
• Maintain Scrum Team focus on the committed deliverables in a dynamic environment
• Develop and explicitly communicate the Product Goal
• Create and clearly communicate the Product Backlog
• Prioritize the Product Backlog to account for value and dependencies
• Ensure that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible, and understood
• Articulate the customer value of the epic, sprint goals, and stories
• Be readily available to the Scrum Team as the voice of the customer to help guide, explain, and evolve the work product as needed
• Run the assessment of the current state of applications
• Lead the design and construction of the QA Framework
• Prioritize and plan the onboarding of applications into the framework
• Bring several applications on to the framework
• The role will require coordination across the entire technology division at the client. Additionally, to manage the delivery of the work products of eClerx consultants spread across the globe. And to integrate existing teams, client’s and other consulting firms’, into the process.

Eligibility Requirements

• Previous experience running QA Automation programs at large institutions, preferably financial services
• Proven track record of improving product delivery through QA and automation
• Experience running enterprise level projects, integrating a large consulting team with a large client division, building communication channels, governance and consensus
• Hands-on experience with QA Automation practices, tools and frameworks
• Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies including testing and managing such efforts
• 12+ years of experience managing QA projects and teams
• Experience building a testing team on a global scale
• Excellent grasp of the software development life cycle and testing’s place within it
• Ability to work with and manage a cross-functional project team
• Excellent grasp of Agile development, testing and deployment methodologies
• Knowledge of the CI/CD pipeline and QA’s importance to the process
• Experience working with high level technical management on planning and project status
• Talented in driving innovation and thought leadership at a client
• Excellent management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Out of the box thinking

Salary Range: $85,000-$155,000
