We are looking for a labeller with a background in visual communication, data annotation, and operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and has a strong focus on quality assurance and operational efficiency.

Ensuring accurate labelling, annotation, and generation of text, design elements, and templates, while overseeing quality checks on contractor output for compliance with Canva's standards. Additionally, you will be supporting contractor management tasks and collaborating with teams to enhance labelling processes and tools.

• Labelling, annotating, and generating text, elements, and design templates within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, in accordance with internal labelling guidelines.
• Conducting quality checks on both internal labellers and labelling contractors' output to ensure compliance with Canva's standards.
• Assisting in contractor management-related tasks, including hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Canva's high-quality label standards.
• Monitoring and reporting trends in quality assurance and labelling to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the Data Labelling PH Lead and EU Team to implement projects aimed at improving labelling processes, guidelines, and tools.

• You have basic knowledge of data annotation
• You have experience as a multimedia designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of visual communication fundamentals
• You have exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• You have the ability to quickly adapt and learn in a dynamic environment
• You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• You thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
• You have experience working in a collaborative environment, with a basic operational background and experience in people management
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Labeling and/Data Annotation

Canva's Generative AI Platform Group is responsible for the delivery of capabilities which empower transformational ML and AI initiatives, from early ideation and prototyping, through to scaling to meet the needs of millions of Canva users in production. We empower thousands of engineers and product managers to deliver amazing product features which harness the power of cutting-edge technologies. 

Data Labelling PH is a key team within this subgroup, currently comprising of one in-house Lead and 18 contractors based in the Philippines. Our goal is to effectively mobilize our contractors, leveraging the team's strengths to efficiently address customer requests while maintaining high quality standards.
