Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test who is passionate about learning new things and designing better ways to identify potential weak spots inefficiencies and issues within software systems. The ideal candidate is well-versed in test automation agile software development and software testing methodologies. This position will work closely with development teams and other test engineers in the implementation and delivery of software products that meet rigorous quality standards budgets and timelines.

As a member of the IBM Software Quality Engineering team you will have responsibilities by close-teaming with other IT teams to deliver environments in an agile consistent repeatable and rapid manner.

Individual will play a central role by delivering quality functions for development teams supporting test driven development framework. Scope will include Test Plan Development Test Case Execution Automation Testing Data Creation API Validation and incorporating test automation in the CI/CD pipelines.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 4+ Years of Information Technology Experience
• Experience with Selenium Test Automation
• Experience with JAVA
• Experience with API testing and API automation
• Experience within Agile Development Methodologies

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Test Automation Management/Team leadership experience
• Experience in other Automation frameworks such as Playwright etc
• Cloud/Container skills (Docker Kubernetes Red Hat OpenShift etc.)
• JavaScript experience
• Jenkins experience
• Linux and Unix environment skills
• Ability to see clarity in complex situations.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to quickly changing product requirements.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects.
