QA Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Full-stack Software Developer you will be contribute to the design and development of components and features for watsonx.ai Synthetic Data and would be involved in designing developing and discussing product delivery & strategy. We are looking for a QA engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.

This role plays an important part in our company’s product development process.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting QA tests before product release to ensure product delivered with best quality and meets client needs.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about performing QA testing in an agile environment.

As a successful individual for this role:

• you will work other QA engineers to maintain and improve tests suites
• you will work in an Agile environment of continuous deliverable
• you will learn directly from senior members/leaders in this field.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop execute and automate test scenarios.
• Collect and analyze results with a focus on problem determination in order to ensure application and solution feature capability and stability.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement or optimization within products and their dependent areas.
• Identify concerns and potential problem areas.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Basic understanding of automated quality engineering / software development / test automation
• Experience in Java development
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and SCM systems (Jenkins Github)
• Exposure to test frameworks such JUnit JMeter Selenium
• Good collaboration clear communication skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Ability to come up with creative ideas
• Experience in developing simple Docker images deploying an managing them for microservices/APIs in k8s architecture
