QA Engineer

US-based data-driven business that serves colleges and universities.
They help educational institutions drive their success with transparency of data, both across departments on campus and across the higher education marketplace.
Our client leverage real-time student record-level data to visualize opportunities and provide analytics that highlight areas for improvement.

• At least 5 years of experience in a QA role
• Knowledgeable about boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, state transition and other test design techniques
• Able to document, execute and maintain functional test cases and other test artefacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts
• Knowledgeable about requirements analysis (impact analysis, traceability matrix, functional & non-functional requirements)
• Experience with REST services testing
• Working with databases
• Experience in test automation using modern tools, e.g Playwright (considered a plus)
• Working with Azure DevOps (considered a plus)

• Design, develop, maintain and execute functional, regression, integration tests, acceptance and end-to-end testing
• Represent QA at stand-ups, project meetings, etc.
• Work closely with internal teams to identify system requirements
• Create and review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
