Job brief:
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to expand our QA department to encompass the range of automated and manual testing. You will develop and perform testing including functional, integration, end to end, performance and regression testing.
In this role, you should exhibit attention to detail and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly. You will be essential to the development process in meeting the needs and expectations of the stakeholders without the introduction of any negative side effects.
The impact you'll make:
- Review and analyze system specifications. Understand the application function and
underlying logic. - Develop and catalog effective strategies and test plans.
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
- Evaluate and document test results.
- Research new technologies, tools, ad testing procedures to continuously improve
processes. - Help troubleshoot issues.
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation (smoke) testing.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development
lifecycle.
What you've accomplished:
Must haves:
- 3-5 years experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
- Experience with automated testing and automated test frameworks.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication and
collaboration skills. - Curiosity, an analytical perspective and problem-solving aptitude.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Test management with ServiceNow or working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr).
- Experience implementing and writing unit tests.
- Have working knowledge of Salesforce.
