As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. Our QA Engineer will implement the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch. Duties include identifying and analyzing any bugs and errors found during the testing phase and documenting them for review after. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results, and collaborating with Product and Development teams to fix program issues.
This role will be for a QA Engineer on the Restaurant POS team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Day to Day will include working closely with an Engineering pod comprised of 2-5 developers.
• Creating test cases and carrying out Smoke and Regression testing to ensure quality
• Working in Jira and TestRails to document testing notes and results
• Working with Hardware to ensure code changes work as expected
• Working with a Point of Sale to confirm functionality of changes
• Collaborating with other product teams within the restaurant space for testing purposes
• Working with automation team to provide them with updates and changes to be automated

What you will bring:

• 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in Agile environment
• 2+ years of experience of testing native mobile applications on both iOS & Android
• 2+ years of experience of writing test cases and using test case management software (TestRail)
• 2+ years of experience of using bug tracking tool, such as Jira
• 2+ years of experience of using databases SQL or MongoDB
• Proficient with Windows or Mac OS
• Restaurant Experience is a big plus!!

Nice to have:

• Experience testing APIs (Postman) is a plus
• Experience with mobile payment technologies and related integration hardware
• Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, JS, and Cucumber
• Experience in Banking/Financial, Retail, or Restaurant domains is preferable
• 2+ years of experience testing hardware
• API/APK testing
• Fullstory/Datadog/Postman experience
• SQL
• MongoDB
• PenTesting/Network Security
