Job Opportunity:

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for a QA Engineer in our Stevens Point, WI office, focused on quality assurance and automation for our Leisure Travel line. We are looking for an automation engineer to collaborate with the development team to analyze the functionality of our Travel applications and identify opportunities for automated testing. This role will build out a suite of automated test cases. If you have a background in automation and are passionate about quality assurance, we would love to have you on board.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in test automation implementation and maintenance
• Communicate with QA teammates to identify test cases that are candidates for automation
• Obtain an understanding of the workflows and supporting data requirements
• Communicate and track any quality risks, gaps, or issues in the automation code
• Communicate the status of automation testing initiatives to the development teams
• Work closely with offshore testing teammates to discuss test script creation
• Train others on automation tool usage
• Participate in Agile refinements and collaborate with development teams to understand user stories and acceptance criteria

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of QA testing experience preferred
• Hands-on experience using Selenium, Katalon Studio, Postman, or other automation tools for test execution
• Experience in writing/maintaining automated test case scripts
• Ability to write manual test cases is a plus
• Experience with work item and test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Zephyr Scale, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and an understanding of Agile methodology
• Experience working with a remote team is a plus
• Knowledge of database concepts is preferred
