The Role 

We are looking for a QA engineer with good practical experience in testing Client/Server applications to help us roll-out the multitude of features and service improvements we have planned.

Responsibilities:

• You will work on a highly loaded component of the SimplePractice main app
• Analyze issues, take a part in investigation and root cause analysis
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, ad-hoc testing
• Creation and maintenance of test documentation: bug reports, checklists, test cases
• Take an active part in requirements analysis at the early stage of development
• Close communication with product team on different stages of feature cycle
• Close communication with the remote teams
• Help with performance testing

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Has 3+ years experience in testing web applications and Client/Server applications
• Understanding of performance testing concepts
• Experience with API Testing Tools
  
• Understanding and ability to use test design techniques
  
• Understanding of security testing approaches
  
• Practical experience with DBMS
  
• Experience with SQL scripting
  
• Advanced experience with test case management tools
  
• Understanding of client-server architecture concept
  
• Experience with the different bug tracking tools
  
• Experience with modern software lifecycle tools
  
• Advanced experience with test documentation writing/updating/maintaining
  
• Familiar with the terminal commands
  
• Solid communication skills (Must)
  
• Team player
  
• Responsible person with the good sense of ownership

Base Compensation Range

$85,000 - $120,000 annually

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission and equity. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
