Job Summary

The Hardware and Software QA Engineer is responsible for working with the software development team and perform QA tasks like creating test plans, testing software suite using lasers, cameras, and robots.

Job Function

• Work with written specifications and/or staff to analyze requirements and new feature requests.
• Design, document and propose solutions to fulfill those requests.
• Prototype solutions and perform testing to verify that your design meets the requirements.
• Work with other software engineers to develop code which conforms to our coding and quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience with lasers and 6-axis robots
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and the software development life cycle
• Experience creating test plans and compiling test cases for the new software releases
• Knowledge of the development and execution of automated test scripts

Familiarity with more than one of the following:

• C#/Visual Studio
• Java/Pearl/Python
• Windows and Unix/Linux

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22C.F.R. §120.15 are required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee. License exception Technology and software under restriction (TSR) defined in 15 CFR 740.6 may permit person from Country Group B.
