QA Engineer II - Unpublished Fighting Game

As a QA Engineer II on Project L, you will work alongside a team of QA professionals to ensure quality goals are met. Guided by Riot’s Test Policies, you will ensure the execution of quality activities at every stage of the software development lifecycle. You will work with other Quality Owners to arrive at more efficient solutions to everyday problems and improve delivery. You will report into the QA Manager.  

• Triage, monitor, and prioritize the defect database
• Improve on methods of test execution at the initiative-level
• Continuously give feedback on content and code being developed
• Collaborate with different disciplines in order to push quality upstream by introducing quality practices across disciplines
• Author test plans and oversee the execution of test coverage
• Work with and collaborate with external QA vendors
• Use Quality Metrics to escalate major issues to members of the Progression Initiative, driving quality decisions. 
• Provide visibility on QA progress to the team
• Work with the Core Gameplay Initiative Lead to hold the team accountable to meet quality standards. 

• 3+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience
• Experience designing and executing test plans
• Experience managing components of a defect database
• Experience tasking remote testers and providing feedback on effectiveness.
• Experience working embedded with developers and content creators
• Experience creating custom reports on test coverage and defect data
• Experience using creative problem solving to improve process

• Passion for Fighting Games and the FGC
• Development experience with Console and PC
• ISTQB Foundation Level 
• ISTQB Agile Tester or ICAgile Agile Testing (ICP-TST) 
• ISTQB Expert Level 
• ISTQB Advanced Test Manager
• ICAgile Test Expert (ICE-AT)
