ARCH US MI Services, Inc., seeks QA Engineer III in Greensboro, NC.
Job Duties:
Understand and maintain quality assurance information as well as responsible for testing of all software product changes that enables business operations to realize company goals and objectives. Perform test planning activities; create and modify test cases; create and modify automated test scripts; create and modify test data; and execute test cases and records results in test management system. Identify software defects; create and manage assigned defects in defect management system; determine defect severity based upon corporate standards; retest defect when issue has been resolved; and provide additional system analysis documentation to software engineers as required. Follow enterprise standards and apply Agile methodologies to ensure highest quality of software features delivered in rapid and iterative deployments. Promote the quality of the products by performing continuous reviews and applying strategies to ensure the functional accuracy and performance of the applications. Develop automated regression test suites to support continuous integration and deployment processes Evaluate tools for automation and make recommendations. Monitor the quality of products through automation tests and develop performance matrices. Construct and execute test cases for functional and workflow-based testing. Analyze the areas that need attention and collaborate with technical team as well as report to the stakeholders. Effectively communicate and follow up with stakeholders on high severity issues and coordinate with development team to ensure resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or related software testing position.
Must have:
- 5 years of experience with software quality assurance testing concepts, methods, and practices including functional, regression and test automation.
- 5 years of experience with Agile product model environment practices including how to manage the burndown effectively.
- 5 years of experience with SQL to query database to retrieve data.
- 5 years of experience with Web applications including testing of Angular applications.
- 5 years of experience with Web Service environments including testing of REST service APIs.
- 5 years of experience with Jira or similar agile resource.
- 5 years of experience with at least one or more of the following: Windows, HP LoadRunner, Selenium, ReadyAPI, or SOAP UI.
- 5 years of experience with NoSQL databases (Mongo DB or similar)
- 5 years of experience with Cypress or Rest Assured framework.
In the alternate, will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related software testing position.
Must have:

Weekends and/or overtime required. Hybrid work model position working 2 days in office and 3 days remote from within normal commuting distance of the office location.
